Out of Network Benefits

While I do not accept insurance directly, many insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits that can help cover a portion of your therapy costs. Out-of-network benefits allow you to choose a therapist who is not within your insurance network while still receiving some reimbursement for the services provided.

I’ve partnered with Mentaya, a service that streamlines getting reimbursed for your therapy sessions through out-of-network benefits.

Why I Don't Accept Insurance

I believe in offering care tailored specifically to each individual's needs. By not accepting insurance, I maintain the flexibility to design personalized treatment plans without the constraints often imposed by insurance companies. This allows us to focus on what truly matters: your mental health and well-being.

Ensuring Confidentiality

When dealing with insurance, detailed records of your treatment are often required. By not accepting insurance, we can ensure that your treatment remains strictly between you and your therapist, providing a more comfortable environment for you to discuss personal and sensitive issues.

Flexibility in Treatment Options

Insurance plans typically dictate the type, length, and frequency of therapy sessions, which may not align with your unique needs. By opting out of insurance, I can offer more flexible treatment options, adjusting the frequency and duration of sessions based on your progress and preferences.

I understand that not accepting insurance can be a significant consideration. Due to this, I reserve a certain number of reduced fee slots for individuals who have financial barriers. My goal is to support you on your journey with the utmost care and attention.
